Add your brand

If you already created and activated brands in the dashboard, you may skip this step and proceed to the next. If not, please continue reading to learn how to add more brands to your organization in our dashboard.

In the dashboard under Settings menu on the left side, there's a section titled Brands. This section allows you to add your organizational branding, which can later be associated with specific onboarding, authentication, or signing flows. You can create multiple brands, but only those that are approved and activated can be utilized in a flow. The maximum number of brands you can have active and approved depends on your organization's current billing plan. In the playground plan (free plan), the default billing plan, you can only have one brand active.

Create a brand

To create a new brand, click the Create brand button found in the Brands section. This action will open a dialog modal prompting you to enter the Legal name of your company or subsidiary as registered with the chamber of commerce. This legal name will be subject to verification by our compliance team during the brand approval process.

Once you've entered the legal name, click Create brand within the modal. This takes you to the brand page where you can upload your company logo under the Logo tab. For best results, upload an SVG or PNG file with a transparent background to ensure your organization is represented clearly during the customer authentication, onboarding or signing process.

Approve a brand

Once you are satisfied with the logo and other settings, click the Request approval button found in the right menu to begin the approval process. Optionally, you can set up a notification in the notification center to receive email updates about the approval status. If you do not configure notifications, please regularly check the status of your brand, which will be listed as either approved or unapproved with an explanation should it be rejected. Approval typically takes up to two working days, though it is often much quicker.

Activate a brand

Once your brand is approved, you must activate it to use it within a flow. Click the Activate button in the top right corner of the brand page. Note that this button is only visible once the brand has been approved by our compliance team. If the brand is not yet approved, you must wait until approval is granted.

Good to know

For some organizations, based on contractual agreements, we can automatically approve brands, streamlining the process for those needing to rapidly add multiple brands. Furthermore, brands may also be added using our API, that allows for even more advanced use-cases.
