Create a mapping

A mapping is optional. It gives attributes from different digital identity wallets a stable claim name in the disclosure output.

Create the mapping

1. In Ver.iD Studio, open Verify, then Mappings.
2. Click Create mapping.
3. Enter an internal name and click Create mapping.
4. Open the mapping and click Add claim.
5. Enter a name and the claim key your application will read.
6. Add one or more digital identity wallet attributes to the claim.
7. Repeat these steps for every output claim.
8. Click Activate.

An active mapping cannot be edited. Deactivate it before changing its claims or attributes.

Add the active mapping when you create a disclosure, or open an existing disclosure and add it from Mappings.
