IssuanceSetup

Create a mapping

An issuance mapping gives each credential attribute a claim key. Your server can then use these keys instead of catalog attribute UUIDs when it creates the issuance intent.

Create the mapping

  1. In Ver.iD Studio, open Issue, then Mappings.
  2. Click Create mapping.
  3. Enter an internal name and click Create mapping.
  4. Open the mapping and click Add link.
  5. Select the credential you want to issue.
  6. Add a claim to each credential attribute. Enter a name and the claim key your server will send.
  7. Repeat these steps for every credential and attribute.
  8. Click Activate.

An active mapping cannot be edited. Deactivate it before changing its credentials or claims.

Open the issuance, select Mappings, and add the active mapping. When using a mapping intent, provide a value for every mapped claim required by the issuance.
