Yivi
Description
Yivi is an open-source identity app that originated in the Netherlands. It utilizes the Idemix attribute-based credential cryptography system, enabling users to authenticate in a privacy-preserving manner on the internet. Users receive digitally signed attributes from a trusted issuer and store them in their Yivi app. They can then selectively reveal specific attributes to online platforms as required, in a fully decentralized manner. Due to its extensive use of zero-knowledge cryptography within its protocol, Yivi is considered one of the most privacy-preserving identity apps worldwide, making it particularly suitable for use cases in healthcare use-cases, where privacy is paramount.
